Born in 1984, Nanning, China.

My work is accomplished with poetic quality in mind.  This poetic quality points towards respect of time.  Which in turn means for me that even when time is fragmented, continuity and eternity are maintained through the eye of an artist, and transformed into an understanding as well as an experience.

Unlike some artists from strong ideological backgrounds, I do not shout loud with wrath.  Human emotions, human affairs and their scenes of action, contradictory origins are my concern, but also I would ask myself how all these facts reflect in the whirling of time?  Are they integrated in the structure of time?  I try to talk about them in a slow and calm manner, resembling the flow of time.  Sometimes while looking at my works you feel your emotions are slowly withdrawn, or you may sense something is familiar but not able to point at anything concrete.  This is how my art works. 

If one is aroused by these minimalist visual approach, that is the moment when my work is functioning.

我的作品建立在一種「詩意的關係」之中;這種詩意,是指對「時間」本身的敬畏。在此敬畏之上,在每一個抽離的片段中,時間流逝的延續性通過藝術家之眼維持下來,轉化成為一種可供理解與感受的體驗。

 

來自濃厚意識形態地域的藝術家常常會選擇憤怒而直接的咆哮。但於我而言,如何將人的情緒、事情的發生、現場的建立、矛盾的溯源等話題,融入時間的線索,以流動的時間結構語言表現出來,是我的創作目標。有時候,你在觀看作品的同時會覺得情緒慢慢的被抽出,你覺得有些東西似曾相識但無法確切指向某一件,我的藝術就是這樣。

 

在近乎極簡風格的物像之間,你腦海中的某一部分被激起,被騰空的時候,也是我的作品在發生作用的時候。
